A national architecture and design firm is the latest company to move into Raleigh’s growing North Hills Innovation District.
BSA has signed a 15,100-square-foot lease at Tower 5, the 17-story office building within the district, Kane Realty Corporation announced Tuesday. The firm will occupy roughly half a floor and relocate its Raleigh office to North Hills.
BSA is an integrated architecture, engineering, interior design, and planning firm with offices nationwide.
“As designers, we understand the impact that place can have on how people connect, collaborate and thrive,” BSA CEO Tim Spence said in the announcement. “North Hills offers the kind of dynamic, walkable environment that aligns with our vision for our Raleigh studio.”
Another Tenant for Tower 5
Tower 5 includes approximately 342,000 square feet of office space, along with integrated parking, outdoor work and gathering areas, conference spaces, and access to the expanding mix of restaurants, shops, and fitness concepts within North Hills.
Among the businesses now open nearby are Standard, Benchwarmers Bagels & Coffee, Good Graces, Dose Yoga + Smoothie Bar, Unlikely Professionals, Intown Golf Club, Hometurf cycling studio and Hush salon.

North Hills Innovation District Continues to Grow
The 33-acre North Hills Innovation District is planned as a mixed-use expansion of North Hills with Class A office space, more than 1,500 apartments, four acres of outdoor space and approximately 60,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
Kane Realty recently acquired an additional 28 acres intended to expand the district and support its next phase of development.
BSA joins a growing list of companies leasing office space within North Hills, including Parexel, RSM, PwC, HNTB, Huntington Bank, Brown Advisory, Aon, Brightly Software and Weatherby Healthcare.
Colliers’ Ryan Toland, Tammy Faulk, and Matt Waggoner represented BSA in the lease. Manning and Alex Mikels represented Kane Realty.
