Wake Forest Coffee Company occupies a two-story building constructed in 1919 that previously housed a grocery store, upholstery shop, and Western Auto Parts Store. Today, the historic space has a relaxed, neighborhood feel that makes it easy to settle in rather than simply grab a cup and go.

Inside, customers will find plenty of seating and artwork from local artists. The upstairs loft offers additional space for those looking to catch up with friends, read, study, or work away from home. Outside, sidewalk seating along White Street provides a front-row seat to the activity of downtown Wake Forest.

Open since 2008, Wake Forest Coffee Company features classic coffee favorites, plus espresso drinks, flavored lattes, and specialty combinations that give customers plenty of ways to find a new favorite.

Signature Sip: Honey Lavender Latte

One of the shop’s signature drinks is the Honey Lavender Latte, a sweet and floral choice that brings together the comforting richness of a latte with the delicate flavor of lavender and honey. It’s the kind of drink that feels right at home in a cozy neighborhood coffeehouse, whether enjoyed hot or as an afternoon pick-me-up.

The Bite

A coffee run doesn’t have to stop at coffee. Wake Forest Coffee Company pairs its drinks with muffins, scones, and other baked treats, while smoothies, boba, and frappes offer refreshing, coffee-free options. Whether you’re craving a morning latte, an afternoon pick-me-up, or something sweet, there’s plenty to sip and snack on.

The Perfect Pairing

The bright, buttery tang of a lemon square pairs perfectly with the soft floral sweetness of the Honey Lavender Latte, creating a balanced combination that is both refreshing and indulgent.
