Thin Mints have some new company. Girl Scouts just revealed two new additions for the 2027 cookie season—including a first that may have your dog begging for a box.
Girl Scout Cookie season is about to look a little different in 2027—and this time, there’s something new for both people and their four-legged friends.
Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines has announced two first-of-their-kind additions to next year’s lineup: Patch Pals and Girl Scout Sparkables. Both will be available exclusively online for shipping during the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie season.
And yes, one of them is actually for dogs.
Patch Pals
Developed in partnership with BARK, Patch Pals are soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog cookies created so pups can get in on cookie season, too.
Each treat features one of four “patch” designs inspired by iconic Girl Scout experiences.
Girl Scout Sparkables
For the humans, Girl Scout Sparkables mark the organization’s first allergy-friendly cookie.
Developed with Partake, the crunchy oatmeal cookie features chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles and is produced in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens.
The two newcomers will join familiar favorites including Thin Mints, Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Patties.
“Cookie season is about so much more than the cookies,” said Lisa M.K. Jones, CEO of Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines. “It gives girls a place to try new things, make decisions, build confidence, and see what they are capable of.”
For Triangle cookie fans planning ahead, Patch Pals and Sparkables go on sale online for direct shipping beginning Jan. 12, 2027. The North Carolina Coastal Pines cookie season officially runs Jan. 16 through March 14, 2027.
And suddenly, waiting until January feels a whole lot harder.
