Lunch and Lit in the Garden: “Beatrix Potter & Friends”

Enjoy this four week deep dive into the life and imagination of Beatrix Potter. This beloved author of The Tale of Peter Rabbit was a young nature lover before becoming successful not only in art and publishing but in science, conservation, agriculture and more.

Each week, enjoy a read aloud story, explore life during the Victorian era and complete hands-on activities connected to the plants and places that inspired Potter’s classic children ‘s tales. It’ll be a bit of literature, science, geography, artistic endeavors and more.

Students should bring a bag lunch and drink to enjoy for lunch.
