Activate Good’s 9/11 Day of Service & 25th Anniversary Remembrance Event

Join Activate Good on September 11, 2026, for the 9/11 Day of Service & 25th Anniversary Remembrance Event at John Chavis Memorial Park in Raleigh. In honor of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, volunteers will come together to turn remembrance into meaningful action through hands-on projects supporting local nonprofits, schools, and community needs.

Projects will include food distribution, community garden and park beautification, school projects, hygiene kit preparation, and more. The event will also feature community drives and opportunities to connect with local nonprofits and discover ways to stay involved beyond September 11.

Two volunteer shifts are available: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and 2:00–4:00 PM. Community members ages 18+ and youth ages 8+ with adult supervision are invited to participate. Registration is required, and space is limited.
