Valentine’s at Alley Twenty Six

Durham’s Alley Twenty Six is offering menu specials with cocktail pairings for Galentine’s and Valentine’s celebrations from Feb. 12-14. The menu includes:

Starters

Oysters Deluxe (six) with Smoked Trout Roe, Creme Fraiche and Chives; $42

Little Gem Lettuces with Herb Toasted Bread Crumbs, Reggianito, Boquerones, Salt Cured Egg Yolk and Green Goddess Dressing; $15

Paired with: Clearly Royale: a clarified milk punch of Conniption Navy Strength Gin, dry Vermouth, lemon and tea topped with Prosecco; $18

Entree

Surf and Turf For Two: a 16-ounce Chateaubriand, Butter Poached Lobster Tail, Mushroom Ragout, Potato Puree and Chimichurri Sauce; $125

Paired with Lover’s Rock: Copper and Kings American Brandy, Mattei Cap Corse Rouge and Bitters; $18

Dessert

Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake with Whipped Cream and Mixed Berry Compote; $12

Paired with Rose Colored Glasses with 1000 Piers Coastal Carolina Gin, Strawberry, Dolin Chamberyzette Strawberry Aperitif, Lillet Rosé, Nardini Bitter Aperitivo and Bitters; $16
