Cary will soon get its first taste of Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café.
The Houston-based restaurant is preparing to open its first North Carolina location in mid-to-late August at 1 Fenton Main Street, Suite 190, in Cary’s Fenton development. A larger grand opening celebration, including a ribbon-cutting with the Cary Chamber of Commerce, is planned for September.
Known for its sweet and savory crêpes and Parisian-inspired interiors, Sweet Paris was founded more than a decade ago with the mission of “reviving the art of eating crêpes.” The Cary location will introduce the growing brand to the Triangle while also creating a full team of new restaurant positions.
“Fenton is one of the most exciting developments in the Triangle right now, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce Sweet Paris,” says James D’Aquila, franchisee and CEO of Virentes Hospitality. “We can’t wait to bring a little Parisian magic to this incredible community.”
Crêpes are the centerpiece of the menu, with options ranging from familiar desserts to more substantial savory combinations. Sweet selections include Nutella, Apple Cinnamon Crème Brûlée and Dubai Chocolate, while savory choices include Chicken Carbonara, Philly Cheesesteak and Truffled Caprese.

The restaurant will also serve breakfast plates, croffles—a combination of a croissant and waffle—fresh bowls, salads, paninis and waffles. Breakfast will be available throughout the day.
The beverage menu includes handcrafted coffee drinks and matcha creations, such as the Tiramisu Latte and Iced Lavender Dreams Matcha. Guests can also order brunch cocktails, including mimosas and the restaurant’s signature Spritz à Paris.
Sweet Paris plans to open daily at 8 a.m., making it one of Fenton’s earlier breakfast and coffee options. The restaurant will remain open until 9 p.m.
The café’s design is intended to complement the menu with light-filled interiors, chandeliers and other French-inspired details. The setting encourages guests to linger over breakfast, meet for coffee or stop in for an evening dessert.
Sweet Paris also operates a loyalty program called Sweet Passport. Customers who download the restaurant’s app can collect points known as “Whisks,” receive special offers and earn a birthday reward.
The Cary restaurant will be operated by Virentes Hospitality, a company with restaurant properties throughout Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and North Carolina.
