ROME NIGHT FUNDRAISER at FIGULINA

Figulina is reviving its Rome Night dinner on June 16 to help a friend of chef-owner David Ellis.

For this dinner service, Figulina will offer a special menu highlighting classic Roman dishes, including the four iconic Roman pasta dishes:

Rigatoni alla Gricia Guanciale with Black Pepper and Pecorino Romano

Cacio e Pepe Tonnarelli with Pecorino Romano and Black Pepper

Spaghetti alla Carbonara with Egg, Guanciale and Pecorino Romano

Bucatini all’Amatriciana with Tomato, Guanciale and Pecorino Romano

The proceeds will benefit Gene Kluttz, who Ellis met while both were volunteering at Raleigh City Farm during the pandemic. Kluttz was a big supporter of Ellis before opening Figulina. Kluttz volunteered time and energy on renovations before Figulina’s opening. Kluttz has suffered a health setback and Ellis is raising money to support his friend during this challenging time.
