See authentic artifacts from past missions, including… Celebrating the complexity of Black life, 23 contemporary Black artists showcase their work at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Tickets include admission to additional exhibitions. March 13–16, 22, 23, 29, & 30. Take in this classic in a new way, featuring choreography by Gianna Reisen and set design by Rebecca Rebouché. Showcasing the unique ways cloth has been used throughout history, the Gregg Museum of Art and Design will display both art and practical pieces showcasing a variety of techniques used by different cultures. Theatre Raleigh tells the TONY-winning story of Carrie Watts, an elderly woman who longs to return to her rural hometown. Join Emmy-award winning actress Kim Zimmer as she takes the journey to Texas. Combining fabric and oil paint, artist Elaine Fleck uses a multi-layered approach to challenge viewers to engage in what it means to be alive.
