Starting in Raleigh, the first stop is Fayetteville (Cross Creek) the center of a large settlement of Scots. Next to Moore's Creek battleground, the site of the first battle of the Revolution where Jamie views the last Highland charge, To the coastal plain town of Wilmington to take a boat ride on the Cape Fear River and visit a 18th century house. In, New Bern we visit Tryon's Palace and enjoy this town on the Neuse and Trent Rivers. Before heading to the Piedmont we visit the quaint town of Edenton were we have a tour of historic homes, a courthouse and lighthouse. In the Piedmont we visitf Hillsborough, Capital of The Backcountry. On to Alamance Battleground where we experience the re-enactment of the battle . Finally we visit Old Salem in Winston-Salem to see how the Moravians lived in the 18th century. We return to Raleigh at the end for the tour.
