Deep South Entertainment partners with the City of Raleigh in rounding out the first official season of Oak City Sessions. The live monthly music show highlights the depth and breadth of the Raleigh’s music scene. Since it’s inception, they’ve worked to include a little something for everyone. Please see full list below.
In the winter of 2016 the city government announced its plans to launch a music TV program to showcase Raleigh’s eclectic musical talent via Raleigh Television Network (RTN11) and on YouTube.com. Fast forward to2017- the city’s public affairs office provides camera, editing, scenic and lighting equipment while Deep South Entertainment books the artists, provides audio production, mixing services and co-produces the series, along with a music industry-centric advisory board that serves to give feedback and direction on the show. To date, Deep South has produced a pilot season of 9 shows in conjunction with the City of Raleigh.
