The 2017 Plane Pull® presented by Credit Suisse to benefit Special Olympics North Carolina will be held April 29, 2017 on the UPS Tarmac at the Raleigh/Durham International Airport.
What is it?
The Plane Pull® in NC helps to provide nearly 40,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to receive sports training and competition in 19 Olympic-type sports. The Plane Pull® is also a unique team building activity for groups. It requires participants to come together as a team to achieve a very daunting task — pull an airplane 25 feet!
Five-person teams will compete to see who can pull a 30,000-pound plane the fastest! Participants must be at least 14 years old to compete. Each five-person team must raise a minimum of $800 total by April 29th. If your team raises $1,000 by April 17, you get your team name on the back of the event t-shirt!
To schedule your team’s plane pulling time, email Leslie Moyar.
This unique event is presented by Credit Suisse, American Airlines, HMS Host, RDU International Airport, Food Lion and UPS, to benefit the NC Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics North Carolina.
